THE RECORD
Music worth owning and physical copies worth keeping.
OUR STORY
BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO
STILL CARE ABOUT RECORDS.
Prime Press Records is an independent vinyl business built around the details that make collecting records special.
From identifying a pressing by its matrices and labels to checking the condition of the sleeve and vinyl, every record is researched and presented with the details a buyer would want to know.
We source pre-owned vinyl ranging from affordable classics to interesting and collectable pressings, with a focus on giving buyers useful information about exactly what they are purchasing.
“Quality vinyl. Carefully sourced.”
BEHIND PRIME PRESS
Prime Press Records was founded by collector Daniel Turner from a genuine love of vinyl and the details that make one pressing different from another.
What started with collecting records developed into searching out interesting copies, researching pressings and helping good records find their next owner.
Every record offered through Prime Press is individually sourced and described, with particular attention paid to condition, labels, matrices and other details that matter to collectors.
Whether it’s an affordable copy of a classic album or a more unusual pressing, the aim is the same: to offer records we’d be happy to add to our own collection.
