TERMS & CONDITIONS

The terms that apply when you order from Prime Press Records.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

ABOUT US

These terms apply to consumer purchases made directly through primepressrecords.co.uk. The seller is Prime Press Records Ltd, registered in England & Wales under company number 17380363, with registered office at 7 Boxford Lane, Boxford, Sudbury, CO10 5JU, England. Contact: enquires@primepressrecords.co.uk.

OUR RECORDS

Unless a listing says otherwise, records are pre-owned. Vinyl and sleeves can show age and previous use. Each listing is intended to describe the specific copy offered for sale and, wherever possible, shows photographs of that actual copy. Pressing, matrix, label, grading and other collector details are provided with care based on the information available to us, but minor manufacturing variations and signs of age may exist.

Please read the full listing, condition grades and photographs before ordering. Where a record has been play-tested, this will be stated on the individual listing; the absence of a play-test statement should not be taken to mean that the record has been fully play-tested.

PRICES & PAYMENT

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Any delivery charge is shown separately before payment. Website payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your order is not complete unless the checkout process confirms successful payment.

PLACING AN ORDER

Adding a record to your basket does not permanently reserve it. Because much of our stock consists of one specific copy, availability can change. When you complete checkout, we will send an order confirmation to the email address supplied. We may cancel and refund an order if the record has become unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or listing error, payment cannot be verified, or we cannot lawfully fulfil the order. If we cancel after taking payment, the amount due will be refunded.

DELIVERY

UK website orders are normally sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 at the delivery price displayed at checkout, currently £4.49 for standard UK delivery. Tracking information is provided after dispatch. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Unless another timeframe is agreed, we will deliver within the period required by applicable consumer law. Please make sure the delivery address supplied at checkout is complete and accurate.

CANCELLATION, RETURNS & REFUNDS

UK consumers buying online generally have a statutory right to cancel most goods orders without giving a reason up to 14 days after delivery, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods after notifying the seller. Details of how to cancel, return a record and receive a refund are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. If a record is faulty, arrives damaged or is materially not as described, contact us with your order reference and details of the issue so that we can resolve it in accordance with your legal rights.

GRADING & CONDITION

Our grading is intended to give a fair description of a pre-owned record's condition. Grading necessarily involves judgement, so customers should consider the written description and exact-copy photographs alongside the grade. Any known material defect should be disclosed on the listing. Our Record Grading page explains the grading approach used on the website.

WEBSITE INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to keep listings, prices and availability accurate. Occasionally an obvious error may occur. We may correct website errors and, where an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option, including cancellation and refund where required.

LIABILITY

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

PRIVACY

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy & Cookies notice.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place an order will apply to that order, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded or changed.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you also retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply to you under the law of your part of the UK.
